Feng took me out for a spin last week..I dun have the habit of wearing my seat belt....EVER
unless i'm in Feng's car..
in case he decided to floor it..
or lose concentration due to my jokes..
so i won't die so fast

I would ask him to face my camera,
race the van in front..
or drift the car like the Ferrari game in the arcade..
It's dangerous having a passenger like mi when he's driving..
coz i kept trying to make him laugh!

But I'm not gonna make the other road users laugh!
When a driver stopped gradually in the middle of the road for no reason,
I instigated Feng to horn at her..
I can be quite nasty for road users who are indecisive,
or dunno what they are doing..

And, with no specific location in mind,
we cruise around..
From some bright and dry locations, to dark and rainy ones..
From kembangan to bugis, little india, chinatown, and finally,
we stopped at marina south for lunch..

It's real fun sitting in Feng's car..
Partly because I enjoy crusing around in a car, to faraway places...
I told Feng to just drive around..
and dun worry even if we were to get lost in some remote places..
Just when we were about to reach home,
the romantic oldie, "careless whisper"was playing on the radio..
I'm looking forward to going out for an aimless spin again..
It's just a full tank of petrol away!

After years of analysing myself, I've finally concluded something...
I am easily amused.

For a start, take any day, do something silly infront of me unknowingly, and I'll get into a little fit of giggles..

Even if it's not funny at all, I'll over-analyse the whole situation and make it damn funny..

And if you saw me laughing suddenly, don't ask me why.

Coz I don't have the ability to speak properly in between my giggles..

I'll laugh at the slightest things..if i'm not in a bad mood that day..

I always thought I could control it.. But my countless failed attempts have proved otherwise..

It happened a few times since the start of this year already... ...

Last week, Feng and me, my mum and aunt, plus my "pink-haired cousin" went to this Thai temple..

All of us kneeled infront of this Thai monk, who was sitting crossed-legged on a low table..

While he sprinkled "holy water" on all of us with his "holy twigs", I felt like laughing already..

But I can't.

Coz we're at a temple, and kneeling infront of a holy monk.

But the more I know I can't, the more I could not control myself.

The holy monk started drawing some "invisible scriptures" with his "holy twigs" on my cousin's palms, while chanting his "holy chant"..

I let out a short giggle, and attemptd to musk it with a cough..

But, by then, my body is shaking a little already..

My mum, who was behind me, saw that, and started to giggle too..

then, my cousin...then, Feng...then, my aunt...then, the monk...

Yes you saw that right... the monk.

And thus, he stopped chanting half way, and giggled..

That was fun! Turning a sombre ceromony into a laughing fit ceromony!

That was the first time we saw a monk chanting and giggling at the same time..

All of them should thank me for this spetacular scene.

I should have gotten out my camera and filmed it down..

Put it on Youtube and amuse people too. But then, the holy monk might get sacked.

And though I'll be feeling real guilty then.. You might still catch me giggling...

Coz I'll be thinking...

"The holy monk got sacked by the holy temple.."
"He'll have to find a new job.."
"He'll have to get ready his resume.."
And his "last occupation" column would have the words "holy monk"..
"Reason for leaving: I was caught giggling while chanting my holy chant.."
and I'll go on and on and on...
and giggle and giggle and get into uncontrollable giggling fits again...

I'm not a bad girl. I just happened to get amused easily. If you think I am,

Feng is a bad guy too. Coz he giggled uncontrollably with me on many many occasionS.

It's too in-depth to tell you those incidents. They come in longgg longgg string of thoughts like the above.

I've got a partner in crime! Being easily amused is not that bad after all!

It's CNY again..
Time to meet up with my cousins..
My favourite cousin, Junnie!
She's going to Ngee Ann this April..
Feng and I promise to bring her around school for nice food!

Though I dun fancy children,
Mandy's an exception!

She's so playful,
and always laughing!
Even the children-hater, Feng,
says Mandy's cute!
She's gonna grow up to be a real beauty!

Feng and I visited my little aunt's
new 6 room executive flat..

And we got inspired to get the same for our new home
in future..
we like space!

After dinner,
We had tea with my little uncle..
Remember I lurvve tea?
We had 2 types of tea that day...
look at the tea set!

Chinese Spring tea..
and flower tea!
The special flower tea leaves!
Each ball is a flower by itself!

The nice packaging really gets me in the mood!

Just throw a ball in,
add boiling water..

And see it bloom into a big pink flower!
It has a real mild taste to it..

We had a tea-drinking lesson from my little uncle..
I didn't know he shared my passion in tea..
These white teacups are to contain tea from the main teapot..
And for us to smell the tea,
as well as to warm our hands by rubbing the teacup

Afterwhich, we pour the tea into our own brown cups..
(the brown clay teacups are for individual usage only..)

He told us that teacups with words in it are rarer..
I think the teacup looks pretty,
and the words, gentle and flowy..

Naughty Feng got distracted by his handphone!

As for me, I enjoyed the session..
and kept asking my little uncle questions!
He said that drinking tea alters one's character..
from hot-headed to calm..
I kept saying "SIO AH!!" (hot) when i touched the hot teacups..
guess in future, I'll go.."Hao Sao Orh..."

And when I got home,
I realised I only receive this much ang pow..
But i'm satisfied still..
Saw the one at the top right hand corner?
It's from Fengs mum..
My future Mum-in-law gave mi...
a freakin $200 ang pow!!!

She also asked Feng what goodies I like..
"Pineapple tarts lor.."
And she bought me 2 big tubs of pineapple tarts!
This $200 ang pow is the biggest one I'd receive this year..
and I bought 4D on the currency number..
I certainly hope I'd strike!

On the 3rd day of CNY,
we went to Sakae Sushi..And I ordered one set meal for myself..
though i'm not the least hungry..

I even eat up Feng's leftover ramen..
plus his tempura..
coz im not in the best of mood...

And to cheer me up,
his usual protocol was to ask me which of these 2 places I'd like to go..
1) Marina South
2) Stadium Waterfront

I chose the latter.
He has to smoke his fill before entering the
non-smoking zone cosy bay..

See, I always try to smile even when im feeling sad...
coz got laogong to accompany me..
It seemed as if he's in an even "foul-er" mood..

The usual plss..
Mango magarita for mi..
and Vodka orleng for him..
oops i mean Orange

And we have cheese knackers to go with the drinks!

After one hour plus...
start to relax le..

And we find pleasure in the shape of the clouds as well...
one look like a F1 car, another, a big sperm...whale

While sitting there..
we listen to the jukebox..
my ipod..
and I tell him why im unhappie...
coz my parents went about their activities without spendin much time with mi..
during the bulk of cny..

I felt much better after talking to Laogong!
I finally become happier..

We went to drink bubble tea after that!
And i had my dinner as well..
vegetarian de..
assam fish
plus rice n salted veg soup..

And very crispy spring rolls!
I feel like a saint!
Eating vegetarian..

Maybe its due to this meatless meal,
that i gained some "merit"
haha
Coz just now my mum fixed a lunch date for tomorrow..
With me and Feng..
finally,
i get to eat with her..

A few days before Valentines', at least 3 people from my class asked me the same question..
"The 2 of you going to book into a hotel izit..? hehe"

I always say that I'm not a "techie"..
But I ask Feng to get me this..
He wanted to give me his Mp3 phone..
but laogong, I want no compromise..

I want a mp3 by itself..
not a phone with mp3!!!
Just like how I want a digital camera,
though I've got a camera phone already..
Yes I know..
You're gonna say I'm a high maintenance girlfriend..
but ask Feng, and he'll tell you I'M NOT!!!
He got me a 4GB one. I only ask for 2.

In fact, the 1st time I ever went out with Feng alone,
as friends, he showed me the red enzo in his car magazine..
I was mersmerized..
though I was supposed to be quite 'dao' and disinterested..

It costs me about S$500..
But the value of the car is expected to fetch us US$500 in a few months' time
provided Feng sell it..
I'm damn sure he wouldnt want to..

Yes, we know V-day is a highly commercialised affair...
But Feng is not gonna short changed me just because he knows I felt this way..
Reason being, He says I deserve nothing but the best..

I would like to thank you, yes, though 3 years late,
for visiting me on our 1st V-day together,
When I have a real serious case of chicken pox..
and looking my ugliest..
The flowers, cake and gifts really cheered me up big time..
