I've laid off Japanese food!

It comes as a surprise to people around me
with regards to the statement above..
To be precise,
I've laid off raw Japanese food!
Due to a darn bad case of food poisoning,
possibly from sashimis and salmon roe..However, after nearly a month of abstinence from it,
I gave in last Saturday..
That's worth a celebration!
Although its only cooked food..
We went to M.O.F
Ministry of Food
A boiling pot of eel and egg,
cooked with kirin, i supposed..
Plus piping hot kara-age chicken..

Tempura is the safer bet for me,
since i haven't gotten over the food poisoning yet..

Its our 2nd time to M.O.F,
and on both occasions,
we enjoyed the food thoroughly!
They always serve their food and desserts
with little cards like this to suggest the best way to savour it..

The surroundings of this contemporary,
new Japanese restaurant on the block!

Complete with nice, cushioned chairs..

And Japanese traditional/cultural
decorations like this..

After drinking westernized tea and coffee,
ask for more green tea to end the meal!

My sudden change in appetite has caused Dad to be a little more happy
with the choice of food I prefer.

Everytime Feng and me reached home,
I hear him asking Feng the same question,
"What's for dinner?"
and Feng giving him the same answer- "Jap food."
Then, Dad's familiar sign,
and Feng's grin.

However,
This is just temporary!
I'll get over being poisoned by sashimi soon enough!

And you'll see us sitting by the conveyor belt again,
hurling over a fresh platter of sashimi..

There are just some lessons we choose not to learn..

I might as well be a perfume bottle collector!
Thought I owned enough perfumes already...
But here comes more!!
Thanks to Feng, and X'mas day.
He gave me a Loewe Perfume!
"I Loewe You"
In a pretty, pink monogrammed bottle.

On X'mas Eve, Cynthair rang,
and asked if I like Incanto from Ferragamo.
"Of course!" I replied chirpily.

Thus, I received an Incanto Dream,
and Incanto Shine.
Coz she can't decide which one I'll prefer more..

On X'mas day, I woke up feeling quite hung over..
still pretty much sleepy...
But Feng's mum handed me my gift..
A MAC Cosmetics gift set..
Suddenly,
I felt a lil less hung over, lil more alert..

With the receipt in a coach holder

All the way from Market Street,
San Francisco.
I love it to bits!

Apart from the above, I received a scarf, accessories, wallets, bags, chocolates and many toiletries sets from "The Body Shop".

Apart from those featured above,
and perhaps the chocz,
I'll have the other gifts circulated next year,
since I've got so little use for them.

It was 11.53pm, 31-12-2007

We were in the bathtub, filled with green tea leaves.

We hurried out of the tub, into the room,

Slide open the sliding door, and went to the balcony.

We looked down, and on the right, we saw a huge crowd, ready to count down.

We sat on the ledge of the balcony, with our legs hanging over it, 10 storeys high..

We heard the crowd shouting..10....7.....5....3..2...1....

On our left, we saw fire works..so clear, right at our faces....

the breeze is blowing so heavily... the world, as if its beneath us, is rejoicing so happily...

2007 has come to past.

What a night.
