It has been 3 years, 10 months and counting.. and you make everyday like honeymoon..
Always so sweet, patient, and full of love for me..
Giving me every reason to feel blissful, secure and loved every minute..
You took care of every single details in my life..
Bringing me for weekend getaways at nice places..
You're like my care-taker, taking care of my 3 meals daily..
and making sure I have everything I needed, and wanted..
Perharps, even my parents have entrusted me to you already..
Making sure you take me home from school, from work..
I was surprised when mum mentioned about me and you going for a holiday at Korea together..
Looks like they've thrown this responsibility of taking care of me to you..
I really enjoy planning our time together..
Where to go, what to do, what to eat..
Lazing in bed, going shopping, exploring places..
Not forgetting all those long talks that we had together..
About cars, people, politics, and everything we can think of at that moment...
that set us laughing, thinking or pondering...
I still remember that sunday, over lunch..
when i heard the song "Masterpiece" playing..
I mentioned how the singer really tresure the girl..
And you said to me you tresure me too.
"If not, I wouldn't have quit smoking the very first time you asked me to"
I felt real blissful.
Also, I really enjoy listening to those songs that we luv,
"Wonderful tonight", "Lady in red", "Blue eyes blue".. just to name a few...
And those songs that hold special meaning for us..
The song that we've chosen for our wedding, is the song that I've like,
the first time I hear it..
coz it's such a powerful song..--Glory of love, from Peter Cetera

"I am a man who will fight for your honour
I'll be the hero you've been dreaming of
We'll live forever
Knowing together
that we did it all for the glory of love"

I am sure you'll fight against anything for my happiness.
Thanks for being my man.
A real great one, that is.

Feng surprised me with a gift last sunday..
A teapot set!!!
Yes - again.
My 2nd tea set from him.
It caught my attention the first time I saw it.
A transparent teapot sitting on a transparent tealight burner.
I didnt expect Feng to get it for me..
It doesn't come with teacups.
He bought them seperately- 2 of them.
Do u notice that the teacup is double layered?
As in, the tea only occupies the upper half of the cup?
Soo pretty and special!
By the way, I brewed berries tea..
With berries and blue hibiscus petals..
I added honey to musk the sour taste of it,
but its still a lil' sour for him..
lurve the red.
I brewed rose bud tea the next day..
Added lemon verbena tea leaves as well..
it's a type of leaves that gives off a real nice sweet citrusy fragrant
when you rub the leaves between your fingers...
it aids in digestion i think...
and rose tea has a calming effect over you..
I added brown sugar..
It's lighter than the berries tea..
After receiving the tea set,
it has always been in my living room..
I'll brew it from the evening, right till the middle of the night..
And the 4 of us drink it.. ( My parents and us)
Feng says the rose tea is refreshing..
The rose buds can be eaten as well!
Another use of rose is to mix the rose petals with your mask,
before applying it on your face..
My colleage told mi abt this..
I dunno what properties the rose bud has,
but it's worth trying!
Especially with an essential oil burning in the room..
Who needs to go to a spa?!
Small little enjoyment like this cheers me up!
But i can't seemed to find someone who enjoys tea like me.. =(
(Tho he claims he enjoys tea, i know he is still a coffee lover..)

Looks like I have to enjoy drinking tea all by myself...
I guess it doesn't matter..
Looking at the serenity of the tealight,
the colour of the tea slowly evolving into a richer hue...
the small clouds of smoke that floats into the air...
Having some quiet time by myself is not a bad idea after all!

After school last week, we decided to satisfy our chicken rice cravings!!
One of the best stalls would be at Maxwell market!
We frequent one particuler stall opposite the "fried-fritters stall"..
but Saph says the "tian-tian" stall is the nicer one..
We wanted to try it that day, but its already closed..=(Look at this yummie pic!
Smooth tender boneless chicken,
with smooth and nice and delicious saltish gravy!!
Even yucky cucumbers become delicious after being soaked in the gravy!
The rice is soo satisfying too!
Soo flavourful,
i swear anyone can finish that plate of rice without anything else!
The soup is slurpilicious too!!!
Most chicken rice stalls serve soup that tastes like
oil mixed with plain water... but this is different!
I can finish the whole bowl !
A happy girl!
Throughly satisfied!
We gave up going to Vivo City for shopping for this meal!
(Plus Carls Junior too!)
We went walking around, to club street, china square,
and back to chinatown point for desserts at swensons!
Boy! We can EAT!
Our appetite sort of doubled recently!
Someone stop us please!!!

A few months ago, not knowing what to do at night..
Feng and I decided to visit Little India..
We went to the Mustafa Center..
judging from how big that place is,
I only bought a packet of Ovaltine biscuits..how fun..
We then went to have supper at this Indian restaurant we discovered..
its just next to Mustafa..
It's really crowded!!!With Indians and tourists..
Lurved the wall paintings of the restaurants!
So vibrant and colourful!
We ordered this..
I forgot what dish this is already,
but i suppose its tandoori chicken?
Thoughtful them! Wrapping the chicken with the aluminium foils..
It's very well marinated!
Yummie!
The restaurant serves keropok as well..
One thing about Indian restaurant, is the price of their plain rice..
Feng and I went to one at Boat Quay,
and they charge us $4 for a small bowl of white rice!
This, if my memory never fail me,
should be butter or cereal prawns..
It's fried with curry leaves..
and its real fragrant and crispy!
The masala chicken on a casserole!
The gravy is spicy enough, and real appetising!
I'll definitely order this again when I go back!
We had a real full supper that night!
Each table had a big metal flask of iced water..
Perharps for those tourists who aren't good at spicy food?
Feng and I are real happy we found the right place to have supper..
There are just too many eateries around, and this restaurant serves real nice food,
with good service as well! The price, though a little steep, is worth it!

After supper, we went to walk around..into small little lanes as well..
It's a bit rowdy, with transvetites everywhere at a certain lane..
One trans even smiled and talked to me?!!
"Xiao Jie, hui jia ar?"(Hey, going home?)
And I said something like "Wo you bu ren shi ni!"
( I don't know you!)
Nothing against them, but i dun like strangers talking to me..
Well, it's like a place out of Singapore..
The only familiar thing is Feng, next to me..
When we got out of those dark lanes, into the main road,
Everything is familiar again!
It's a real fun and different night!
Do visit that place at night as it's more lively and interesting!
I'll visit little India again soon!
