Have you been to "Say Cheezecake"?
Its a cafe selling all sorts of cheesecake...
but guess what, the food is damn heavenly as well!!!Their menu is filled with pictures after pictures
of their yummy food!!!
It's a real joy going thru their menu...
almost like a picture book!

This is only a small variety of their cheesecakes!
NY cheesecake, Chicago cheesecakes, chocolaty, oreo ones,
fruity and citrusy ones,
you name it, you get it!

Our first dish..
served in this big plate,
is cheesy tomato soup!!
I hate tomatos, but i swear i can get hooked on this soup!
The very appetising sour taste of the soup,
plus the fragrant grated cheese that you can chew on!

The soup alone makes mi happy and hopeful of the meal already!

Up next, salad!
Sounds too healthy? Boring?
Thats where you're wrong!
It's one of those few salads that I'll finish in my life!

Friendly bite-sizes fresh lettuce, cabbages etc,
with sweet and juicy mango-like fruits,
crunchy walnuts,
plus a drizzle of citrusy, sour and tangy sauce..
I can gulp down a few bowls of these without feeling guilty!!!
Down with those places that uses fat-laden mayonnaise or salad cream
for their dressings!

There's fishes, prawns, mussels, chips....
All fresh and succulent!!!!
All Freshly fried and piping hot!

Mine's seafood baked rice..
Prawns and fishes and mussels with rice,
covered with a blanket of thick and fluffy cheese,
with tomato paste to balance the heaviness of the cheese...
I can have heaps and heaps of this!

We really swear by the food!!

Feng's triple chocolate cheesecake!!
Very rich and smooth, with a generous topping of
chocolate dusting...
It comes with chocolate fudge sauce and condensed milk!!
Mmmmm....

I had the apple crumble cheesecake!!!
The citrusy apple balance off the richness of the cake in a nice way!!!
The cake is smooth,
and the top layer of it is sweet with the green apples on it!!
The apple sauce goes well with the cake too,
making it moist..
I dunno how to describe this further...
Try to order in advance k,
coz their cakes literally fly off the shelves...
especially those popular ones...

Time for us to digest our food!
I LURVE their tea set!!!
Transparent teacups and saucers!!!
How "english" and classy can these nice teacups be??
But i think they serve me chammomile or something liddat...
I dun realli drink chammomile....
But the tea is nice as well!

Feng's "black" coffee is yummy too!

The 5 course meal are damn yummie!!!
And real satisfying too!!

Finally,
we went to try out CANELE.
A tiny chocolaterie in Paragon...Just look at the display shelves!
Rows of chocolates, cakes, pastries etc in it!
A sweetletz-addict 's haven!

Apart from chocolates,
Feng and I like flavours like caramel,
butterscotch, vanilla, nougats, toffee, hazelnuts etc..
And this dessert is a combination of the above!

The crepe is filled with a nutella creamy filling,
with butterscotch or nougat ice cream,
topped with butter caramel sauce, crunchy butterscotch "biscuits",
and sprinkled with icing sugar snow!!
You can taste heaven in this dessert!

And if you've never been there,
go,
it's bound to put a twinkle in your eyes!!

We went to eat Thai food ..
at this supposedly rowdy place near
golden landmark hotel..With these 2 cute n pretty girls!
In fact, they brought us there!

We ordered Phat Thai!
For cindy, as this is her fave Thai food!
Its Thai Fried Kway Tiao..
With raw beansprout and lime..
Rara kept eating it with sugar and peanuts!

Then there's seafood fried rice!
Looks bland but real flavourful!
The green curry chicken is quite spicy and homecooked!
Plus the chicken are boneless!

plus an alter..

It is as if we are really in Thailand,
looking at the surroundings...

Look at the feast!
There's also seafood Tom Yam soup,
stuffed chicken with prawn meat,
and pork and basil rice..
All of them tastes great!
And the price is reasonable too!

After dinner,
we took a slow stroll towards Bahang Street..
to an arabian or sikh cafe..

We sat at an out doorsy place,
like a roof top..
just look at our background!

We were there not for food..
nor desserts...
but......

We decided to go try Sheesha!
Those arabian water pipe smoke...
We chose the grape plus mint flavours...
To get ourselves "prepared" for the supposedly "heavy" sheesha,
we all had a stick of the real cigs!
In the end, it tastes lke nothing,
other than air plus a sweet sweet aroma...

But then,
we decided to move to the indoors...
The walls are in red and orange...
making the place look real dim and cosy...
We have to sit on the carpeted floor,
with cushions and all...

Doesnt it look majestic?
When the 4 of us went in, and saw people half lying on the cushions
smoking through the pipes, it really looks like an opium house!

Feng is the smoke machine of the night!
blowing out gallons of smoke!
We can also see people that looks as if they are drunk..
but in fact, they are high from smoking sheesha!

Like playing a musical instrument like recorder...
not in an obscene manner, mind you!
And thus, throughout the night,
we passed the sheesha pipes around the 4 of us...
happily smoking, especially in the indoors...
as the charcoals are hotter, and the sheesha smoke gets "heavier"..
We got abit giddy alreadi...
its finally taking effect!

That night is also my birthday!!!
The chinese one, i mean...
And thus, I had an make shift birthday cake!!!
It's actually like butter sponge cake, with a crispy top layer of caramelised sugar!!

With a candle in the middle!
And 3 people singing a birthday song for me!
A most funny way to spend a "birthday"!

Before distributing my birthday cake to my strawberri gang mate, smallie,
her darling rara,
and the strawberri gang leader, Feng...

This time, we'll have to sit indoors,
and try other flavours,
ranging from strawberri, apples, colas,mint, grapes....etc....

Little India, as promised!!

Magdalene bought me oreo cheesecake from Anderson's!
She wanted to buy me a meal, but ive got no appetite...
Should have asked for birdnest for dessert instead...After work,
Feng bought his birthday girl for a meal..

Of coz must be my favourite japanese dinner!

It comes with sashimi, tempura, unagi,
teriyaki fish, appetiser, chawanmushi, rice and miso soup..
Real yummy but damn feeling!!
After the rich oreo cheesecake earlier..

i'm not scolding vulgarities k...

It's a balanced diet!
Healthy too!!

It's a specialty from Kyoto..
(My fave town in Japan..)

After dinner, we went to this pub off Boat Quay..
Feng's drink, Mai Tai..
Well, we didnt order it..
the bartender decides for Feng..

The sibei "dai-sai" birthday girl...
had a yummy chocolatier...
actually i asked for chocolate martini..
but the bartender mixed this for me...with all my fave ingredients!
Theres baileys, chocolate ice cream, martini or similar stuffs..
Sweet, chocolaty, yet the alcohols strong...
Most importantly, its pretty!!

Oops.. the NYDC ppl made a boo boo!
theres 1 less candle!!!
Maybe i look younger to them? hee hee

My hubby went off to buy extra candles..
He came back with only big candles...
so we break it into half,
to make it look small...
