I am looking forward for the release of the movie, 'the fast and the furious 3'. Ive heard rumours that in this 3rd sequel, its about street racing in japan. Supposedly, its about the latest craze, drifting. Ive seen some spy shots about the making of the movie, and if i didnt see wrongly, i saw an rx7 kitted with the latest kit available from veilside. [veilside rx7 fortune model].
For those who have no idea what veilside is, its actually a renowned company dealing and producing their own aftermarket parts. Some of these parts includes bodykits and rims, suspension components, surgetanks, throttle body, etc. [basically it revolves around power systems]. Veilside has been known for creating one of the fastest street drag machines. In 1999, they created the veilside r34 street drag and achieved a staggering speed of 346.2kph [Closed road]. Of course the car's been stripped out and has undergone extensive modification and tuning. Its been said that when it comes to drag racing, veilside has been known to be among the very best. Well, back to talking about the movie, i hope that there is minimum use of cgi. Can only wait and see if its better than fnf2. Heard that the movie would be something like namco's ' midnight wangan', but with a whole lot of drifting action. It isnt confirmed though. It seems like the american racing scene is really heating up, but i feel that there is simply too much use of NOS [Nitros oxide]. Anyway, we can only wait for this movie to be released.
