After much consideration, we decided to have dinner at the
Manhattan Fish Market (MFM) instead of the Jap restaurant next door...We ordered the seafood platter for 2..
Feng's fave is the grilled prawns with cheese..
I thought the food looked too much, but in actual fact, it's not enough!
All of them are nice, but I love the garlic butter rice the most,
followed by the oysters, prawns, calamari..(drool)...fish..
The result...
We left the whole portion of fries behind..
Both of us prefer "shoe-string" fries..
The feeling I always get when eating at MFM...

Lots of expectation, anticipation and impatience for the food too arrive..

Lots of enjoyment, and a feeling of celebration when eating the food..

And tons of guilt and imagination when I left..

(Guilt due to the fattening food, and imagining that I've put on 5kg after dinner...)

A few days ago over dinner, Feng told me bout the lawsuit between MFM and Fish & Co..

Apparantly, the court ordered MFM to state the difference between some of their dishes as compared to Fish & Co..

It's evident that the idea of serving the 3 sauces before each meal, and using the pan to serve the food is a direct idea from Fish & Co..

But, if MFM is able to duplicate some of the food much better than Fish & Co, with a slightly cheaper price, aren't the diners the ones whose gonna benefit outa it?

Anyway, whatever the outcome of the lawsuit, Feng and I do hope that MFM is here to stay!
