It was Feng's birthday, and I had a lil surprise for him! Initially, I told him we are going to spend his birthday having lunch with my parents, then, go shop around before having dinner. After that, we will go find a cake from any cake shop, eat it somewhere, before going home.
Sounds boring! I didnt even book a cake for him, like any other years...
But, little did he know that......

I've reserved a room for him!
From the eve of his birthday, all the way till the big B-day itself!
The surprise planner!

I check in all by myself first! Look at the toiletries that I've prepared in advance!
All the travel size toiletries, including the brand that he always uses--Cetaphil..plus my melody shower cap....

Then, the cup noodlez that I can't leave without and the chips for Feng, together with drinks in the mini fridge!

I even brought my extra lense case for Feng! Together with solution and all! Coz he isn't prepared to stay out overnight!

After dripping some essential oil on the pillow--Exotic,
I set off to meet Feng, somewhere quite near.. Omg! I nearly exploded thinking of all my plannings!
Once we met, I told him I felt thirsty, signalling to him that we should go buy drinks at 7-11..(which is near the room)
Once we walked past the main entrance, I walked in, pulling him inside too!
He was half shock n half grinning!
We went up to our room, while i showed him around, with the things that I've prepared in advance!

We spent a lazy afternoon in the room.., before going out for a late dinner! He suggested going to Kuriya..for my fave Japanese food!

I was appalled by their great service! I was only sneezing abit, and the server brought me a stack of tissues with a warm smile!

Feng insisted in selecting my dinner for me..

The dainty little appetiser! Fried Salmon, plus green tea!
It's crispy and "xiang xiang de~"

Fengs dinner! A mix of sashimi, tempura, with teriyaki chicken...
Well, i finished up all his sashimi!

Feng chose hot ramen over cold soba for mi!
Guess it'll be easier on my stomach and my cold!

Couldn't resist the simmered pork, we ordered another skewer of it!
The server came with 2 cups of warm green tea, and took away our room-temperature green tea which we haven't realli drank! The manager ask us how we find the food too..
Now, thats what I call service...

Feng end off the fantastic meal with his fave coffee in a matching coffee cup with some other utensils.

After dinner, it was already way past 10pm..
We walked out of Kuriya, with all the surrounding shops closing..
I "panicked"and tell Feng we r done for! The cakeshops would have been closed by now!
I asked him if he'll mind, without a birthday cake this year..
He said he won't.
I'll never missed the tinge of dissapointment in his eyes..
I suggested we'll make our way back then..
I held him, and walked towards Swisshotel..
turned a corner, and presented my collection receipt to a staff there..
The cake box said it all...

My Darling Feng has got a birthday cake after all!

The place I reserved the cake from, days ago..

At 12 midnight! I sang him his birthday song in our room!
I nearly teared while singing for Feng! I felt touched myself!

Originally, it came with fruit toppings..
I requested for chocolate toppings instead..
So it's 1 of a kind, custom made tiramisu for my birthday boy!

Since there's just the both of us, we'll eat straight out of the cake!

Can't wait to devour the birthday cake!

We have our breakfast sent up to our room too..

We had a late check-out time, so, theres still a longg time before going home...

No disturbance plss!!

By the time we reached home, it was already in the afternoon.. We slept all the way till dinner time! Before having another big feast for dinner..Our new found eating haunt..especially their fried prawn balls with mayonnaise..
That's the plan I had for this dear birthday boy! Prior to his birthday, I just can't contained all the excitement I had in me..Such a big plan, but not many ppl knew about this lil secret..
Im glad everything turned out great!
Now,I have to crack my head thinking of his birthday planning next year..to be able to match up against this..
