Everytime we walked by this chinese restaurant at marina square during dinner time, we will see a very very long queue outside.. Both Feng and I were curious why this always happens.. Since it was still so early after my presentation that day, we decided to go there for lunch!Just look at this menu! Its interesting to look thru it!
Matching chopsticks and serviettes cover..
And the interior of the restaurant..
What a huge contrast to the view outside!
While waiting for our orders to arrive, Feng and I talked to each other as if we were swordsman and swordswoman..it doesn't take much to amuse ourselves big time!
We'll of coz have chinese tea in chinese restaurant rite? A pot of Iron buddha!
Here comes the duck, roasted with 10 wonders herb! The skin is still crispy, very fragrant, and the sauce tastes like "kong ba"sauce.. Great when you mix the sauce with rice!
Fish Maw thick soup with seafood. Generous servings of fish maws and chicken! Reminds me of the times I used to make campbell fish maw soup for Feng with our instant noodles..
Sweet bean celery with cuttle fish. The cuttle fish is one of the best that I've tasted! I don't normally eat celerys, but, because of the irresistable sauce, I almost finish the whole plate of greens! Mix the sauce with the rice too!
This is the BEST. Mongolian spare ribs. The ribs are deep fried first so they become ultra crispy. Then the thick thick sauce is stirred fried with the ribs. The sauce is......indescribable!
This is a MUST TRY!!!
Our table filled with food. By the way, they refer their rice as superior fragrant rice.. What's so superior about it?
Dessert time!
Double boiled Hashima with ginseng and red dates! Good for the complexion!
Its an impromptu decision to have such a "chinese"lunch, but, it's a nice change!

The crews there are really ultra polite.. Most of them are from China..this adds an even more "swordsman-era" feel to the ambience.. hehe.. As for the rating, think Feng would agree to me giving them 4.5 stars out of 5. The complaint? Not enough!! Or rather, I'll never have enough of such delicious food..
Now we know.. the secret behind those looonnnggg looonnnggg queues....

I went to this restaurant before. They cheated our money! Added 30+ dollars to our bill without accounting for what those 30+ dollars! And the food wasn't as fantastic too! The service is good. But all China people. I thought this kind of cheating instances happen only in China. They brought their cheating culture to Singapore! Its the worst place i ever eaten at!
    *shakes head*
